Starting 31 July 2018, when applying for a Canadian visa, the applicant would need to lodge their application in person at the Canadian visa centre in either Pretoria or Cape Town only.
The applicant would need to submit their biometrics i.e. fingerprints and facial scan at this office.
Biometrics will be valid for ten years from the date they were first submitted. As a result applicants will not need to resubmit biometrics until the 10 year period expires..
