Health charge for temporary migrants will increase to £400 a year

Increase to Immigration Health Surcharge gives NHS extra funding. Plans to double the immigration health surcharge may provide an extra £220m a year to the NHS in the UK. Canadian News: Visa applicants must submit their applications in person

Starting 31 July 2018, when applying for a Canadian visa, the applicant would need to lodge their application in person at the VFS Global office in Pretoria. The applicant would need to submit their biometrics i.e. fingerprints and facial scan at the VFS Global office. Biometrics will be valid for ten years from the date they were first submitted.
