UK opens pre-travel requirement to non-Europeans from 8 January 2025
The UK Government has introduced a new Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) to streamline entry for millions of international travellers who pass through the UK border every year, including travellers from the USA, Canada, and Australia for example. From 27 of November 2024, all eligible non-European visitors can apply for an ETA and will need one to travel to the UK from 8 January 2025.
